Starting in the fall of 2012, I will be offering an intensive course in empowered living, The Living Well Seminar. This course is for anyone seeking to take a dramatic step to further their personal growth. The seminar uses the latest tools in cognitive therapy and behavioral science to help participants achieve their goals for a healthier lifestyle.
Participants can use this course to find relief from anxiety, depression, addictions, over-eating, smoking, relationship problems and stressful, unbalanced lifestyles. The course is designed to catalyze change through developing healthy habits in diet, exercise, sleep, self-reflection, social engagement and stress management. You pick the area of your life you want to improve, and apply the tools in this course to make the changes you seek become real.
The Living Well Seminar harnesses the powerful support of a peer community in combination with a carefully designed psycho-educational curriculum. Participants will be facilitated to provide effective coaches for each other. This social learning not only helps group members reach specific goals, it also gives them valuable skills for improving their relationships outside the group.
The cognitive and behavioral curriculum offers a clear guide for eliminating old habits and replacing them with healthy ones. The power of choice is supported by a thorough understanding of how to develop internal cooperation between the different parts of one’s self. With an integrated plan for success and a supportive community, the changes you would like to make are very possible.
